Silent Conversations is first and foremost a feisty opinion blog – mostly of the books and TV show variety. Our articles primarily feature and discuss the genres of young adult and new adult but, of course, we do tend to diversify our reading now-and-then. In terms of TV shows, well, it really depends on what keeps the popcorn popping and our seats currently glued. (Right now we love The 100, Arrow, How To Get Away With Murder and Sherlock).
However, as young and independent spirits of the 21st century, we don’t like to be confined by labels and conventions so don’t be surprised if you see a post highlighting any social issues that we feel passionate about!
This blog is written and maintained by the fantastic four: Ashali, Divya, Tara and Maliha who share their love of books, television and all things media.
The name of the blog stems from a quote Ashali read once: “What is reading but silent conversation.” ― Walter Savage Landor, Imaginary Conversations. We really liked the idea of incorporating the quote into a blog title, and so ‘Silent Conversations Blog’ was born!
The aim is to intrigue, educate and share our voices.
We promise we have interesting things to say.
